Fuel Your Body Without Caffeine

If you're tired of relying on caffeine as a pick-me-up, we've got a few suggestions that will refuel your body and give you an energy boost.

Replace your favourite caffeinated beverage with juices or a smoothie. These drinks pack a powerful punch of antioxidants, vitamins, and enzymes that restore energy and revive your mood. Clean and Press Juice Bar, just five minutes from our Willow Properties offers organic juices, smoothies, and smoothie bowls. Booster Juice, just two minutes from our Pine Allard Properties, has a line of energy boosting bowls and nutritious smoothies, available for takeout, curbside pickup, and delivery.

Staying hydrated is a simple way to keep your energy up. When you don't get enough water, you can become irritable, tired, and easily distracted. It's not just water that contributes to your hydration; everything we eat or drink, that is water-rich, helps us stay hydrated. So, rather than trying to drink six to eight cups of water a day, try to drink water gradually through the day and with meals.

The power of the sun helps plants flourish, but it helps us stay healthy, too. A deficiency in vitamin D can make you feel tired, irritable, or cause joint and muscle pain. To avoid vitamin D deficiency, go out in the sun for about 10 to 15 minutes two to three times a week. Always apply sunscreen when you'll be in the sun for more than 20 minutes.

Herbs can help raise your energy levels and make you feel more alert. When you're feeling tired, try smelling peppermint. As an essential oil, peppermint can help you feel more alert and improve memory. A sage supplement will help reduce fatigue and improve your attention span. You can also try strengthening your cognitive function with rosemary essential oils or supplements.

While caffeine can improve memory and decrease fatigue, it's not always the healthiest option. These suggestions can help maintain a healthy lifestyle while giving your body fuel to help get you through the day.
